Van Turner Is Rolling Up His Sleeves for Memphis

Van Turner Jr., a proud native of Whitehaven, Memphis, has dedicated his life to public service and community development. A former Shelby County Commissioner, Van is no stranger to fighting for the city he calls home. A graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Van has been boots on the ground for several causes that are close to the hearts of Memphians. He talked about his path to the here and now and his plans for the future of the city.
